Sunrise of Hope, Beauty

The breeze caresses my skin.
The sun warms my face.
I feel hope inside again,
That warms like an embrace.

Rich colors blend in the sky.
Showing me endless hues.
A sight that urges me to try,
And forget my list of to-dos.

Birds sing the music of dawn
While waves roll to shore.
This moment, all stress is gone.
I feel-life can be more.

Cool sand covers my feet,
Centering me to Earth.
Mornings like this – invigorate.
I can recall my worth.

Sunrise on the beach brings me
Hope in a new day.
It highlights possibility
And tells me, I’m okay.
