As I wrote about appreciating life, I came across this from my Bosnian deployment. It struck me that the child's shirt says, all over the world - survival. Maybe that appreciation is part of that survival. When given certain circumstances, if you are going to survive, you can choose to complain or choose to accept and embrace it. I choose to embrace it for what I can.
