Some of my friends call me Nato. I am a Soldier, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend. Over the years and through some deployments, I have realized, life is short. I have no more time to waste and put off my dream of writing. Therefore, I am starting now, with this blog.
My goal is to share my humorous stories from deployments and random thoughts on life (all in effort to work on my writing muscles). I hope to make people laugh, cry, and maybe, just maybe, realize they need to seize the moment. The world will never slow down and things may never be in a perfect place for you to start your dreams. Only you can make it happen. So make those bucket lists. Find those silver linings. And, keep on reading my blog. Maybe one day you can say, “I knew her when she was just a blogger.”
If you like some of the pictures I post, I have another WordPress blog dedicated to photography alone. It’s called Michelle Lunato Photography. Check it out and come back soon!

Hey stranger! I know you might not remember me but I was on that escort mission. I was one of the MPs tasked out to provide security. Hope you are doing well!

Hey! Your last name sounds familiar. Which mission do you mean? Iraq or Afghanistan?

Ahhh – so this is the writing side of your blogging. Your words are as lovely as your photos 🙂

Yes, I started with the ‘wordy blog,’ as I like to call it. But found that I was posting a lot of photos. So, I figured I should just separate them in case there is a group of folks who prefer writing over photos or vice versa. It also lets me post more content without overwhelming people to much. Now, if I could just find more time in my days, lol.

It is hard to squeeze in all the wants with the needs. I swear, working interferes with my social life and goals, lol.

I KNOW!! Since I’ve retired, I discovered that the cliché is true – I’m busier than I’ve ever been!!

On some days – like this week – I’d have to agree with you. Oh well, just have to take the good with the bad, I guess.

So true. I often think, would I really want more time, like so much time I would live forever? That’s tough decision, especially if all your loved ones didn’t remain with you.

Great philosophical question. The usual answer normally revolves around health, wealth, and loved ones … but I’m not so sure I would want to either way. It kind of takes the urgency out of this life.

Very good point (the urgency). I suppose that is why God gave us limited time. If we knew we had forever, we might wait a long time before we ever got anything done.

Hello soldier 🙂 March is around the corner. What date would you choose (what Sunday) for renewal challenge? 😉 I am thinking of going away for Easter which leaves 27th out.

Hello there! How about the 13th? I have military duty the weekend before and after and that could prove to be distracting and time restricting.

It was easy to like things. I was pretty impressed with the little I flipped through. Great work! Looks like I better keep up with you. You have some amazing portraits of people. Happy I found you because you found me, lol! I am still figuring out how to find people in the blogging world if it is not via comments and likes and challenges.

I am so honored! I would love too. I just read your link. I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. Any topic you want specifically or just interpret it how we feel and run with it? Thanks again for the consideration. This is like a blogging highlight. I just hit one year….last month I think.

There’s no specifics. Interpret the prompt as you like and let it take you where it leads. Cool. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Oh Thank you! I haven’t heard of it. I don’t see any reason to decline it. What do I need to do? Oh, that reminds me I think I forgot to acknowledge one Berry Duchess sent me last month! I had a family emergency and totally forgot about it until you mentioned this one….
