The Art of Nature is All Around

This butterfly floated around my yard for a bit. It was like witnessing art in action.

I find that photography is simply about seeing the art in what is already there. Anything can make a good picture depending on lighting, angles and composition. I am not a very technical photographer, but I do have a good eye. Yet, some things are just so easy to photograph, like this butterfly. I am starting to go through my photographs to build a photo blog, so stay turned for that!

  1. I love your blog. Your pictures are gorgeous! I appreciate your insight and am glad to know I am not the only who loathes liars, etc. How did you put your about Nato on your front page? Is that just a text box? I need to do something like that to and am having issues making it more visible, other than my about me on a sidebar. You have done an amazing job on your page!

    • Thank you so much! I haven known way too many liars. I just don’t understand why either. It must take so much energy to lie about stuff. I have a hard enough time remembering my reality, let alone try to make things up, lol.
I am pretty sure I did the text box thing as a widget. (From one of the Blog assignments) Funny, but I was trying to do something else and got that, so I was like…ok, that works too. Here is one of the links I was looking at to understand these wacky widget things. http://learn.wordpress.com/get-configured/#leswidgets
If you don’t figure it out, let me know and I will try to retrace my steps on failing to do what I originally meant to do.
